CONTENUR organic containers for the city of Seville

The city of Seville has begun to implement CONTENUR’s organic waste collection system.  

The model chosen is the CONTENUR 2.200F with electronic lock.  

A total of 340 containers will be installed in the city, and 340,000 electronic cards will be provided to the public.  

Users can access the container with their electronic card, which limits and personalises access to the container.  

In addition, it allows accounting for the quantity and frequency of the deposited waste. 

Thanks to this initiative, the city of Seville aims to encourage the selective collection of biowaste, increase the recycling rate, raise public conscience and awareness in waste management, and ultimately, send less waste to landfill.
