At the beginning of November, CONTENUR attended the ISWA World Congress, where it presented the advantages and benefits of side-loading collection in a presentation. CONTENUR is the market leader in southern Europe for the manufacture and installation of large-volume containers, with more than 280,000 units sold worldwide.
During the congress, Raúl Amérigo, sales manager for Asia and the Middle East, had the opportunity to share news and impressions about the side-loading system with customers, distributors and suppliers interested in this collection system, which lead to the rising of interesting challenges for the near future.
The ISWA (International Solid Waste Association) World Congress is a global gathering that includes high-level plenary sessions, as well as technical visits and a cultural and social programme, where waste management professionals, government officials, industry leaders and policy makers meet to exchange views to advance sustainable solid waste management. Since its inception in 1972, there has never been a Middle East edition. In 2023, the chosen venue has been Muscat (OMAN) under the umbrella of Oman Environmental Service Holding Company S.A.O.C (Be'ah).
